1, fuse replacement
The AC power fuse that the user changes himself is located below the AC power switch located behind the printer. The standby fuse has an electrical specification of 5Amp/250VAC, which belongs to the 3AG fast fuse. Switch the AC power switch and unplug the AC power plug before replacing the fuse. When replacing the fuse, the word type screwdriver tip is inserted into the fuse box on the end cover hole cao. Gently press the end cover and turn the screwdriver counterclockwise. The end cap will disengage from the fuse box so that the fuse can be removed. If you install a new fuse, follow this procedure to reverse operation.
2, print head pressure adjustment
Adjusting print head pressure ensures print quality. The pressure required depends on the type, thickness, and width of the medium to be printed. Clockwise rotation of the pressure adjustment knob, you can increase the pressure; counterclockwise rotation of the pressure adjustment knob, you can reduce the pressure. If the medium is too narrow to match the two tablets, the pressure on the unused tablet shall be reduced. Generally, the pressure on the two tablet should be adjusted to be consistent.
3. Daily cleaning and maintenance. Caution: no lubricant may be used on this printer. Certain lubricants will damage the surface coating and mechanical parts inside the printer.
(1) cleaning of sensors: the cleaning of sensors (including emission sensors, ribbons sensors, and reflective sensors) is usually done three to six days at a time. When cleaning, first pull out the block board, and then use the blower (suction ball) to sweep the top and middle of the sensor.
(2) print head cleaning: use industrial alcohol of 99% purity as cleaning solvent. The print head should be cleaned every time a reel of ribbon is printed. This will maintain print quality and extend the service life of the print head. Power off the printer, the print head assembly to open, remove the ribbon and bar code card, soaked with 99% alcohol cotton (or cotton), wipe the print head (brown part with metal line) until after the clean, use a clean cotton swab gently dry the print head.
(3) rubber roller cleaning: after cleaning the print head, wash the drum with a cotton swab (or cotton cloth) soaked with 99% alcohol. The method is: turn the roller with your hand, scrub it while you clean it and wipe it dry. The cleaning interval between the print head and top roller is usually three days. If the printer is used frequently, it is best to do it once a day.
(4) other printer cleaning and maintenance: the drive system of clean and clean the chassis generally once a week, is soaked with alcohol (cotton or cotton) surface, the transmission shaft and the scrubbing channel clean, dry.
4, replace the print head, pay special attention to: due to static electricity will cause permanent damage to the print head, replace the print head must be prepared anti-static ready.
Turn off the printer power and do the antistatic preparation for the operator. Loosen the print head retaining screw and separate the print head from the print head bracket. Unplug the print head data and the power cable. New print head. Installation data and power cable. Put the print head in the correct position of the print head bracket. Fasten the print head retaining screws. Perform PAUSE key boot test, clean print head according to test situation, adjust proper print head pressure and print depth setting. Turn off the power, turn on the power again, and connect the machine to test. If the test is all right, the print head will be replaced
5, replace the motherboard
Turn off the printer power and do the antistatic preparation for the operator. Remove the housing after removing the retaining screws. Unplug the main board of the power supply and data connections. Loosen the fixed screws of the serial port and parallel port, loosen the fixed screws of the main board, and remove the fault main board. Position the new motherboard in the correct location of the motherboard support. Fasten the fastening screws of the main board. Boot test, and if everything is normal, then the motherboard replacement is complete
6. Replace bar code printer and LCD screen
Turn off the printer power and do the antistatic preparation for the operator. Remove the housing after removing the retaining screws. Unplug the LCD module power supply and data connections. Loosen the fastening screws for the LCD module and remove the faulty components. Reinstall the new LCD module to the correct position. Fastening screw for fastening liquid crystal module. Boot test, and if everything is normal, the LCD module replacement is complete
7. Change the belt. Turn off the printer power supply, good anti-static preparations for the operator; loosen the screw casing, the casing removed; fixing screw loosening drive motor; 4, loosen gently after decentralization makes belt slack, and then remove the drive belt; installation will be new to the correct position, the drive motor back to the correct position; screw fastening driving motor. Boot test, if all is normal, then the drive belt replacement is completed.
